Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
