The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
