The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
