۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
