The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in extended columns. 9
