Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
