Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say thou; I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). 3 And from the evil of malignant witchcraft, 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
