(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
