The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
