The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and banana trees, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and gushing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 and raised couches 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 and made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
