Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
