And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
