O you who have believed, take your precaution and [either] go forth in companies or go forth all together. 71 Lo! among you there is he who loitereth; and if disaster overtook you, he would say: Allah hath been gracious unto me since I was not present with them. 72 But if good fortune comes to you from God, such a person is sure to say - just as if there had never been any question of love between you and him: "Oh, would that I had been with them, and thus had a [share in their] mighty triumph!" 73 ۞ So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward. 74 And what aileth you that ye fight not in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: our Lord! take us forth from this town whereof the people are wrong-doing, and appoint us from before Thee a patron, and appoint us from before Thee a helper! 75 Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak. 76
