VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
