Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
