Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Yes, never! By oath of the moon. 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 Warn the men. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What took you into the hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 "Nor used to feed the needy." 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
