The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
