۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
