We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
