Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 They used to say before: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
