It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
