The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Guide us Thou unto the path straight 6 the Path of those upon whom You have favored, not those upon whom is the anger, nor the astray. (Amen please answer) 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
