The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
