The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us Thou unto the path straight 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
