The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
