The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
