The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
