The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 King of the Day of Judgement. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
