The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 the path of those You have blessed; not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
