In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1
Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7
