The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3 Lord of the Day of Judgment! 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
