The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
