The Key (Al-Faatehah)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us to the straight path - 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Key (Al-Faatehah). Sent down in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
