The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
