The Key (Al-Faatehah)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1
Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us to the straight path - 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Key (Al-Faatehah). Sent down in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
