The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
