The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us in the straight path, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
