The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
