The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
