The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
