The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
