The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
