The Key (Al-Faatehah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
