The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
