The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us to the Straight Way 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
