The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
