Animals (Al-An 'aam)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
ALL PRAISE BE to God who created the heavens and the earth, and ordained darkness and light. Yet the unbelievers make the others equal of their Lord. 1 He it is Who hath created you from clay, and hath decreed a term for you. A term is fixed with Him. Yet still ye doubt! 2 He is Allah in the heavens and in the earth. He knoweth both your secret and your utterance, and He knoweth what ye earn. 3 Yet every time a sign of their Lord comes to them, they turn away from it, 4 So indeed they denied the truth* when it came to them; so now the tidings of the thing they used to mock at, will come to them. (Prophet Mohammed -peace and blessings be upon him, or the Holy Qur’an). 5 Have they not regarded how We destroyed before them many a generation We established in the earth, as We never established you, and how We loosed heaven upon them in torrents, and made the rivers to flow beneath them? Then We destroyed them because of their sins, and raised up after them another generation; 6 And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!" 7 And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?" But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved. 8 Even if We had sent down an angel as messenger he would have appeared in the garb of a man and filled them with confusion, like the one they are filled with. 9 Messengers (of Allah) have been derided before thee, but that whereat they scoffed surrounded such of them as did deride. 10
