(Muhammad), tell them to travel in the land and see what happened to those who rejected the Truth. 11 Say, “To Whom does all whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belong?” Proclaim, “To Allah”; He has made mercy obligatory upon His grace; undoubtedly, He will surely gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection in which there is no doubt; those who put their souls to ruin, do not accept faith. 12 ۞ To Him belongs all that dwells in the night and the day. He is the All Hearing and the All Knowing. 13 Say: Shall I take a guardian besides Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds (others) and is not (Himself) fed. Say: I am commanded to be the first who submits himself, and you should not be of the polytheists. 14 Say: 'Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a great Day' 15 He from whom (such retribution) is averted on that day, (Allah) hath in truth had mercy on him. That will be the signal triumph. 16 And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent. 17 He has the supreme hold over His servants. He is All-Wise, All-Aware. 18 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Whose testimony is the greatest?” Say, “Allah is the Witness between me and you; and this Qur’an has been sent down upon me, so I may warn you with it and whomever it may reach; so do you bear witness that there are other Gods along with Allah?” Say, “I do not bear witness to it”; Say, “He is the only One God and I do not have any relation with whatever you ascribe as partners (to Him).” 19 Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe. 20
