Al-An 'aam 7 of 20
Say, “I have been forbidden to worship those whom you worship other than Allah”; say, “I do not follow your desires – if it were, I would then go astray and not be on the right path.” 56 Say: 'I take stand upon a clear evidence from my Lord and it is that which you have given the lie to. That which you desire to be hastened is not within my power. Judgement lies with Allah alone. He declares the Truth, and He is the best judge.' 57 Say: 'If what you seek to hasten were with me, the matter between you and me would be decided; and God knows very well the evildoers.' 58 ۞ And with Him are the keys of the Unseen; none knoweth them but He. And He knoweth whatsoever is in the land and the sea. Not a leaf falleth but He knoweth it, nor a seed-grain groweth in the darkness of the earth, nor aught of fresh or dry but is in a Book luminous. 59 And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do. 60
