And this was Our argument which we gave to Ibrahim against his people; We exalt in dignity whom We please; surely your Lord is Wise, Knowing. 83 We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) guided: and before him, We guided Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good: 84 And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous. 85 And Ismail and Al-Yasha and Yunus and Lut; and every one We made to excel (in) the worlds: 86 And from among their fathers and their descendants and their brethren, and We chose them and guided them into the right way. 87 That is God's guidance; He guides by it whom He will of His servants; had they been idolaters, it would have failed them, the things they did. 88 They are those whom We gave the Book, Al-Hukm (understanding of the religious laws), and Prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein (the Book, Al-Hukm and Prophethood), then, indeed We have entrusted it to a people (such as the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW) who are not disbelievers therein. 89 to those whom God has guided. Follow, then, their guidance, [and] say: "No reward do I ask of you for this [truth]: behold, it is but an admonition unto all mankind!" 90
